Another winter moment, with the rain coming in the distance and the sunrise reflecting on the water, the pink line on the the water is not a filter mistake:) it was the colours of winter merging. Happy Wednesday to you all, and thanks for your visit to my photo stream and your comments are very much appreciated.

This image is a winter version of a previous image.
The sun is now rising and setting in the south This was taken around 2 o'clock in the afternoon while the sun is at its meridian the total day light is about 5 hours for now. If possible, I will take the image a month from now on the winter solstice when the days start to get longer. as of today, we are losing 6 minutes a day
Occasionally I get up early enough to enjoy the sunrise.
The colours are gorgeous with distinct layers above the cloud layer.
A cold start to the day but it makes your morning coffee taste even better.

Winter Wonderland written in 1934 by Felix Bernard (composer)
and Richard B. Smith (lyricist).
There are lots of interpretations. Here comes Pat Boone:

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight.
Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird,
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song,
As we go along,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman,
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married?
We'll say: No man,
But you can do the job
When you're in town.
Later on, we'll conspire,
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid,
The plans that we've made,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman,
And pretend that he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with mister snowman,
Until the other kids knock him down.
When it snows, ain't it thrilling,
Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
