This was taken from my window seat on my last trip to Cuba.The town below is Rafael Freyre,Holguin Province.I have many friends there and luckily the plane flew over as it climbed.I hope to go back again this year as I am fed up with winter:)!

1975 to 2009 highest TV tower in the world.
Since then often the scene of spectacular stunts and record-breaking performances.

If you look really close, you can see a chandelier hanging in the inside of this building. The little city you see reflecting in the glass is the ghost town of Nevada City Montana.
Flying around storms at sunrise makes for beautiful clouds!

International Friendship Festival
which was Sunderland Kite Festival ..Washington ..Tyne & Wear..

I attempt to get as close to the deer as I can but normally they run off way before I can get close enough to a nice clear shot. This time, I rather like the full frame of flowers and garden stuff with the doe looking back at me from close to the back fence. I could have planned it a bit better, but maybe not too much.
The other two picx are through the kitchen glass door, and I actually like those too, as they are what I typically see. The pole you see if of a birdfeeder, the line across is part of the door. Flowers are just a few of what will be later in the summer. The pinkish ones are Sweet William, the yellow are whatever.
Yet more visual splendor as we follow the western face of the Kočevska Mala Gora hill line in the south of Slovenia (www.flickr.com/photos/boran_pivcic/37480205140/in/datepos...). What better way to relax after a busy working week than hop into the air in a light aircraft with the sole purpose of enjoying the view...
(of interest, this whole area was closed off in Yugoslav times due to the close proximity - 5 km from this very position in fact - of a major underground military command post, dug out in the 50s to protect top brass in case of a Soviet attack)
