Nighttime view of a mesh banner face staring through my hotel room window.

aftermath of a red sky sun set

Illumination for this shot...I aimed a hanging lamp at the orchid....a new flower is in the process of opening.

All my photos yesterday were taken indoors...it was SUCH a day of extreme winds and cold and snow....the best place was IN!

Our roads were ploughed overnight, and I might go out this afternoon....maybe....

The newspaper arrived...and we'll have mail later...

Not exactly looking like Christmas..........

as the fog lifts just a little

as the sun comes around from the East

having a window seat can be a pain in the butt when you need to go to the bathroom, especially when it's a 12 hour flight. But shots like this make it worthwhile.

Flying over the Philippines on my way back to New York City.

View Against Black

For once it looked beautiful as I looked out over the waste facility next door

Wonder how that bar over this street-level window got bent? Someone coming ..... or going. Either way, they must have been tiny to get through that little space.

This photo I took was from my window seat, as I was flying back to Sydney after visiting my dad in Evandale Tasmania. This photo was taken back in 1995, I flew with ANSETT Australia.

we had a lot of weather all day long...starting with strong winds blowing snow that flew past the window from the west...no idea where it landed in the east...then the wind stopped, and we had a snow dump in front of our eyes.....

I like the neighbour's old red shed...especially in the winter....

Flying into NY on a clear day, with a window-seat and phone, is so great!

seen in and around a Sausalito home, little glimpses....and still with transforming rain....pleasing the eye.....

Clouds formation taken from a plane window somewhere south west of Paris on an Air France flight from TUN to CDG.

Late afternoon rosy glow of apricot on the horizon spreads a warm light in my space. I love fall!
