the road you see left to right

heading west past the second largest Mall in England

throw a second left after that and due will get to the west coast

in less than two hours ,,,

Yet more night-time visual enjoyment as we struggle homewards against a strong jetstream parked very firmly over western Bosnia. Having encountered a bit of cloud on our way, we lit our landing lights to get an idea of their extent and density - inadvertently adding quite a bit of atmosphere to an already fine scene.

Temporary pause at phx. Shot from a window seat on a 737.

Explore Jan 10, 2009, #161. Why?

From our hotel room, we had a great view of the spires of the Old Town of Warsaw. The Old Town is full of colorful buildings and cobblestone streets. Key landmarks include the Royal Castle, St. John's Cathedral, and the Market Square. During World War II, it was almost completely destroyed in 1944 during the Warsaw Uprising. However, the people of Warsaw were determined to restore their historic center. After the war, they rebuilt the Old Town, using old paintings and photographs as guides to recreate its original appearance. This incredible effort paid off, and the Old Town was eventually granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1980, recognizing it as a symbol of the resilience and spirit of the Polish people. Oh, and for those wondering, the vivid Kodachrome colors are not due to additional Photoshop effort but come from the Leica M8 with a UV/IR cut filter in front of the Elmarit-M 1:2.8/28 ASPH. I just love the combination of this very old camera with this small but excellent piece of glass - Warsaw, Poland

On this very cloudy day, the aerial view is definitely not impressive, but the landscape below sure catches one's attention. :)

Have a fabulous day, everyone.

Looking out the window from some place near our local mall, I saw this lovely pink decorated car with yellow flowers. It turns out it is for Nurses on call. What a great idea; sometimes that is the kind of person you may need in an emergency when you cannot get to a clinic or your own doctor or just need some help in the home due to illness.

Open up your house that has no views by placing a window view on your wall.

Adding a window framed image to your wall can create a sense of depth, light and openness to a room, especially a room where there are not many ..... or no windows.

Enjoy this colorful beach sunrise landscape whilst relaxing in your living room or kitchen. Or, what a relaxing view for your office.

The colorful beach sunrise is also available without the window frame. The title is Sunrise Reflecting - kaye-menner.pixels.com/featured/sunrise-reflecting-by-kay...

The Fine Art America logo will not show on prints or products purchased.

These windows overlook the back alley space of an illegal motorcycle gang's clubhouse. Not sure what the pile of soil is for .... gardening???

The view of some clouds from my British Airways Boeing 777 as I headed to Montreal. The colour of the sky and clouds were very calming.

Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,

Enwrought with golden and silver light,

The blue and the dim and the dark cloths

Of night and light and the half-light,

I would spread the cloths under your feet:

But I, being poor, have only my dreams;

I have spread my dreams under your feet;

Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
