This was taken inside St.Mary's Church, Hanbury, Worcestershire. The overcast sky outside gave the interior of the church a gloomy feel with dark shadows in contrast to the softly lit tomb carvings.
This was me figuring out the settings for the new camera. The ribbons are a decoration I bought at a Renaissance Fair years ago, I've always loved it.
In order to read the Grand's logo on the lid of the paint pallette, with the available window light backlighting it, you view it upside down. I still like the play of light and shadow.
I went to my Grandparents house and i wanted to take pictures outside but it was much too cold. So basically i just took pictures of a bunch of random things in their house. Like my moms room, their house is filled with old vintage things :) Hopefully when its warmer out and im over i can take pictures with my grandmas typewriter! It was also her birthday :)
Oh and trust me, i really wish this was actually film.
