Yep this is what I call them. Technically a window is almost like a hole in the wall. This is where they like to hang. Well, some of them.

It is always about the attitude. So many things are based on the attitude of someone.
This guy certainly has some going for him.
The contrast in styles between the Orchids and this overgrown Spider Plant evoked a very old memory of a classic Disney film. The whole shoot was meant to try out focus stacking in PS. Something I'd never tried before this morning. Seems to be a good way to extend DOF with resorting to those diffraction producing high f-stops.

This image was originally used as half of a beautiful diptych, but I have uploaded it on it's own by popular demand from Amit and these three lovely ladies.

Sometimes you cannot figure things out.
Fly probably died of boredom waiting for Spring.
Going for a long drive today. Later flickeroos.
Happy Thursday
Week 26 in 52 Weeks for Dogs and thank goodness Tasku is feeling better. She's still having very short road walks and special food but has definitely turned the corner. However it does mean another 'at home' shot this week.
She is giving her best disconsolate expression here just for the camera. I liked how the early evening light was shining through the window and illuminating her nicely.
My lovely Flickeroos ..... You have a lot of nerve expecting me to come through on these themes all the time. I was perfectly content with missing the odd time.
So, to the flea market we go to spend a leisurely afternoon sifting through time. I see one lamb, then another and then more and now seeing as this has obviously become an omen, I need to get home and get some pictures off while the light is somewhat reasonable.
The top little guy is a fridge magnet.
They are cute, yes.....?

Week19:Roll of Film
We want to introduce you to our new friend Caricoli, known as "Cari" for friends and family :) He or she is a young snail that we found in our little daily outing last week. Miguel is in love with him since he has a great caring instinct. I plan to liberate him soon, but negotiations are going to be tough...
This week picture is not my idea but Miguel's. He asked me to have a picture with Cari on his shoulder like a pirate with his parrot. I wasn't sure if this would work out, but It has turned out that we have a super sociable snail <3
I asked my husband which he preferred, but he didn't really like either of my sets of photos of dried hydrangeas. You would think I would know better. He’s kind, but honest.
This is a bold strike for one small person trying to find a place in this crazy, frightening world. Without reading the news.
We hope to survive the pandemic, but it has taught me to slow and to care for and to notice gentle beauty.
Thanks for looking.

We don't catch Huntley out and a 'bout too often. He was out on the deck as well but that will be another day posting.
Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday
We are going through a weird period for commercial and non-commercial portraiture, nevertheless I have been able to make some portraits to some close friends. Thanks God, otherwise I would have died of boredom.
My boss brought these in for all the ladies in the office. I couldn’t focus on work for about an hour lol
A perfume of the day.

It's this time of year – late August to early September – that always seems to hold the most magic. Light, fog, cool mornings. It adds up to some great scenes.
When I say I have lots of marble photo's I mean lots as in hundreds. Trouble is my decision making is poor aligned to the fact it is not something everyone enjoys. Never mind...its like music soothes the savage breast sort of thing... if you know what I mean ?
How they like to make believe. Always something going on at this house.
It is healthy to have play and fun.

since feeling is first
e.e. cummings
since feeling is first
who pays any attention
to the syntax of things
will never wholly kiss you;
wholly to be a fool
while Spring is in the world
my blood approves,
and kisses are a far better fate
than wisdom
lady i swear by all flowers. Don't cry
--the best gesture of my brain is less than
your eyelids' flutter which says
we are for eachother: then
laugh, leaning back in my arms
for life's not a paragraph
And death i think is no parenthesis
