This is a shot I did while working with another photographer (Gerry) on a one-on-one session. The model was being shot by Gerry and I just loved the light coming in like that, I increased the contrast so that the light would 'own' the image.
My $15 rice cooker from Walgreens. The rice sticks to the bottom sometimes, but for the price, I really can't complain.
After an afternoon of mucking about with different lighting set-ups this simple shot lit by a window and a reflector ended up as my clear favorite.
Thought I'd post the colour version of Sebbie by Windowlight. Littlest grandson, all scruffy with bad hair, chapped lips and a snotty nose. Still adorable.
Scanned from a 35mm negative film I had in storage for 40 years. My wife. Window lighting is so nice.

I'm very proud and happy to have been invited to be a part of this little girl's special day... her "First Holy Communion"
It is a Catholic ceremony where she received the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist for the very first time in her life. I was also lucky enough that the dinner took place in this amazing Polish restaurant in Mississauga called the Barbakan Restaurant. Food was amazing and the decore lent itself very nicely to this gorgeous portrait.

Pretty much sooc too since i found it so hard to edit because everything made it look grainy. My mom has a bunch of glass things on the windowsills and when the sun starts to set there are random rainbows everywhere :) First time i saw this one in this spot above the door. I was wearing peacock earrings if your wondering whats dangling form my chin :P
I took this earlier this month and my teacher loved it so I figured I should put it on flickr (:
