The kitchen in the basement of the Castle at Isle Marie. I adore Dorothea's sense of traditional style.

Elise with 4x5 Razzle Bluebottle fitted with an old 150mm Fujinar W on 100 ISO Chinese ERA filmstock. Developed in Ilford HC for nine minutes (pushed a little) then scanned on an Epson 4870 flatbed. Only assistance here was a reflector to bounce the soft light back onto the subject. The Shelton Muller workshop at Monsalvat was fun like you've never had before....

Inside the New Norcia Hotel

I was preparing a sandwich for my wife and I when I noticed the nice light from the window. It took a little longer than usual making the sandwiches but it was fun... as my wife rolled her eyes asking me why it's taking so long :P

In case you're wondering I made roast beef sandwiches on slightly toasted multigrain bread, with thin sliced tomatoes and romaine lettuce. The roast beef was topped with a slice of melted swiss cheese. A thin spread of mayo completes everything.

Window light from 12 o'clock and 7 o'clock. Well, I'm hungry now gotta eat!!!

Have a great week :)

In the bathroom, C told me that you have to wash your hands in a "Place full of beer". Because if you don't everyone will smell it on your fingers. I just nodded my head yes & didn't ask where he got this information.

For the record, he has never had his fingers in beer.
