The broken framed glass was nearly complete.

The cellar windowframe now stripped of peeling paint with my new super-macho heat gun.

I only set it on fire the once.

Eagle eyed viewers will see that I also broke the glass in the top pane and had to remove itl.

fist impressions are everything

Did a little tumblr style edit for a change.

There we go, apart from the floor and the roller blind that is the kitchen all done! Only took a couple of hours but it looks great... ;)

As it was a leap year we had an extra day so I felt one more shot to really complete the set from July 4th 2011 to July 4th 2012.

This photo was an attempt to recreate my first photo (not an easy task) of my 365 project. The leap year caused a happy problem for me and I got to revisit where it all began.

Photo 4/365 - 04-Jan-2010.

A by product of shooting for the Sub-12 group graffiti brief. This abandoned building has been vandalised yet the brick structure stood strong. Some of the panes of glass are completely missing yet some have shattered but hung on to the frame.

I wanted to portray an air of mystery inside the darken holes into the depths of the structure.

A view from an archaic engine room, Camp Morton, Manitoba, Canada.

Another one from the front of the chicken coop.

Part 3: The third and probably final piece of the three photo set I hereby dub "The Crop Itself".see the preceding The Outside Itself and Inner Light.

I just couldn't resist doing this : -)

This is a crop down to the single pane at bottom center of Parts 1 and 2. It was a glance at this while walking through the house that inspired the shot in Part 1.

bought some flowers at publix for a photo shoot at work...they always have the prettiest simple flowers.

... as seen from the first floor landing at the RWA. (As you can see, after the storm, the sky cleared and it dried up completely - but only for an hour or so.)

A worn sign and windowframe on the side of the barns next to the building in the previous photo. I liked the combination of textures and the green leaves protruding into the frame.

This is my mother's german dachshund. But he is as much mine because he has lived with me from time to time. He is 15 years, going on 16.
