We've had some really bad weather with high winds and lots of rain. This is my poor battered wind chime, but it did survive!
Slab Construction - Hung with a boot-lace. Glazed with Turkish Amber and Emeraude. My first wind-chime.
It was a bit too rainy to head over to the older part of town today, so I sketched the windchimes on our house.

I made this yesterday. It was so much fun to make. I got the idea the other day when I fixed my windchimes that were falling apart. It's made with little bells, glass beads, twine and a stick from my yard. I plan to make more... cause I just love it.

I am reflecting on some of the sounds that I love that will not be present in apartment living: the sound of the wind in the trees, my wind chime, birds fussing at the feeder. But the adventure of life will bring new sounds to appreciate and enjoy!

It's baaack. Those "nightmares" where I wake up paralyzed and screaming. The past few nights I've been too scared to go to sleep, even with all the lights on and the doors open. I've been a mess and now I can't stop throwing up.
