Nicholaston Burrows Beach, Gower, Wales, the day after a night of very heavy rain and strong winds. Wind was wipping over the surface and sand was wizzing across the surface of the beach, stinging feet and bare legs - the dancing patterns were fantastic to watch

The wind was blowing this blossom around pretty well today, but I was able to catch a few shots.

Altamont Pass (east of San Francisco) has many of the 14,000 wind generators in California. In 2004, wind energy produced 4,258 million kilowatt-hours of electricity, more than enough to light San Francisco. These were shot while driving over the pass, one-handed.
This photo doesn't convey the full craziness of the wind in Seattle today. Getting over the bridge was an hour-long ordeal, because nobody wanted to go faster than 5 - 10mph. You could feel the bridge shifting from side to side beneath the car, and the surf was high enough to break over the sides of the bridge. I'm surprised that they didn't shut it down.
Usually I don't crop my photographs but this one is, slightly, because I had to straighten it just a bit.

Wind Cave,
Natural Entrance Cave Tour
I hadn't planned on stopping in Johnstown but Mother Nature called and I had to make a pit stop at Second Wind Coffee.
