Also known as Potentilla recta or Sulphur Cinquefoil, these wildflowers are approximately 3/4" across, grow 12-30" tall, and have five yellow heart-shaped petals.
Thank you so much for your faves and comments. Have a great week!

Not actually wild in England, but they are called Wild - a lot of small flowers constantly renewing!
This little forest beauty was just sitting all alone in the sunshine of the day. How could i possibly pass by this gorgeous wild forest flower.

Have a safe and beautiful day dear Flickr friends !
This wild Phlox was fairly prevalent on our trip to Arkansas while shooting waterfalls. I got serval single blossoms but missed shooting some large areas for a different approach - the bokeh in this shows that purple in the backdrop.

About the process
I made this image with a Kodak Ektagraphic FF 102mm f/2.8 slide projection lens that I converted to M42 mount. I have called these lenses "Ektoplasmars" sometimes and it is a way to find other images made with them.

A look back on a warm autumn afternoon.
Really missing the summer warmth, although we had an unusually mild November weekend but it was gloomy and rainy.
Have a good week ahead:)

Here's just one more of the geese from a couple days ago before I move on. There's a flock of starlings (I think) that got mixed up with the geese here. Not sure how that works when you're flying in such tight formation. No casualties as far as I could tell.

"According to The Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew in the UK we've lost some 97% of our wildflower meadows since the 1930s and that saying nothing of the damage we've inflicted on our wildlife". We should be much more than ashamed of ourselves. These wild poppies visit my garden every year and I love having them as guests.

I spotted this bird with a few others on my **Spring** fling to South Dakota in 2019. The trip started like any May day, warm and clear. But overnight, the forecast came true and it snowed, turning the area into a winter fairyland IMHO.

A week later after I captured the TransMontana of LTE at Tárnok ( flic.kr/p/2m2FxhU ), I turned back to that place, where the wild rose bushes provided an interesting topic as they've blossomed. Direct sunlight was also right for highlighting these colourful flowers and create the imagined picture.
