Let me move your hair

So I may admire you

And drink you all in

A quick run around the city to pick up everyone and I pause to look up at this modern marvel holding up so much. I should have no complaints compared to a bridge.

Wait and wait and wait

I clearly don’t feel healthy

Just want to go home

The mysterious sky plus a glorious sunrise... This is not retouched, only adjusted to make it look as real as it felt that morning.

Another from the storm of 8/08/12. Confession: I added the windmill in post. I feel it was needed.

Atop the off ramp

I see the traffic below

And exit with glee

I cannot believe that this is taken from within the Chicago city limits. I love my city.

A tribute to 2 best friends: Teresa and Luís. Thank you for loving the same type of scenarios, peaceful moods and nature as much as i do.

Lomography Instant Wide, Fuji Instax

1641_1648_Panorama1. 1st attempt. It’s quite a challenge trying to photograph the Aurora from a moving boat with the Aurora itself moving as well. Factor in a long enough exposure to attempt to capture the starfield, and multiple shots to achieve a panorama and this is the result.

Pre-sunrise, Aegerisee (Lake Aegeri), K. Zug, Switzerland

Very often in the fall and winter, moisture evaporating from the warm waters of the lake condense into a fog in the cold air boundary just above the lake, to a thickness of 100 to 300 hundred meters.

In the center distance, the Urner alps catch the first rays of light.

I go to nature

To meditate and reflect

And slow myself down

This C3, likely from the late 1970s, appeared in our neighborhood a week or two ago. It needs some love but I was caught by the unusual two-tone rear bumper. Gold bumper, black everywhere else. Handsome.

At O'Hare's new (to me) multimodal building, I encountered this amazing piece of art called "Field Lines" created by Robert Ley. It was done in 2018, made of Painted Aluminum and measures 294’ W x 25’ H x 2.5’ D.

Escape the city
