Found on the northeast side of Nashville. I think it was called Goodletsville.

Haven't had the time I'd like for photo editing lately. And Snapseed stopped retaining EXIF data on mobile, so my on-the-go editing has been discouraged. Hopefully things slow down soon and I can get back into rhythm.

East of Denver International Airport, a dilapidated old barn sits alone in a vast sea of meadow grass and snow.

It's neat how whitespace can be used to imply direction. The bowls toppling over almost feels inevitable.

This is my first entry in my endeavor to experiment more with minimalist LEGO photography. Each month this year I will be focusing on a different theme (people, shadows, lines, etc.).

This month’s theme is “people.”

art or nature or both ...

or just one of it ...

if we can be peaceful and happy,

not only we, but everyone will profit from it.

This is the most basic kind of peace work."

For ODC Our Daily Challenge: Creative Overexposure

A hobby: something you do, enjoy, and don't get paid for? For me, that means writing. I spend a lot of time writing stories, journaling, pondering. I have stacks and stacks of old journals and notebooks from the years. I love the simple elegance of the spiral bound design.

...for lady...

"The sun shines and warms and lights us and we have no curiosity to know why this is so; but we ask the reason of all evil, of pain, and hunger, and mosquitoes and silly people."

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

I really wasn't planning to post anything today, but I couldn't resist one more ladybug...

Laying low between these sheets of ice, I feel the cold, crystalline creep. Chilling paroxysms that make me shudder.

Then I am frozen in place. I am drifting over. I paradoxically undress. It is all familiar sensation.

In the late '90s and early '00s, I kept scrapbooks of my favorite magazine clippings. I still love these arrangements.

Update: The muralist filled in the whitespace with the names of the deceased. Say their names.
