While visiting the WeWorks offices on Hubbard Street during Open House Chicago 2018 I stepped out on the 17th floor balcony to look around the skyline. Not too far away I saw this brightly colored rooftop deck. Surprisingly it belongs to a small insurance company Childress Loucks & Plunkett. They have their offices in the old Boyce Building, designed by Daniel H. Burnham & Co. and constructed in several phases, with the final eight story expansion completed in 1923.
This vintage bank is now a We Work Space. The Old National Bank is the drive thru and a small space on the side. It is also a residential space on the upper floors.
January 15, 2020 - One of the privileges of staying at the Panamericano Hotel Buenos Aires is the Nivel 23 Club & Spa located on the 23rd floor. The views of the city are spectacular from this vantage point.

Officially 1 year today since this office opened and we moved in. Happy 1st birthday WeWork. Don't know how I managed to wait 1 year before posting a picture of these stairs!

Morning strength training (pull conditioning). Followed by a comedy of errors trying to get 150 programs across the county. I turned in a 35lb box of programs to be overnighted 1 minute before the deadline- wow, it's expensive to overnight things.
Finished the day with an HPA board sub-committee meeting and drinks at the WeWork space. Met Francisco, who moved to the states from Mexico 8 years ago and apparently knows the Carfree Cities folks I met in Guadalajara, because the world is really small.
