Weld, or dyer's Rocket, this is a biennial plant that likes a chalky soil. In Wales I only see it near the sea. Once cultivated for the bright yellow fabric dye that can be made from it.
I'm still not sure where the best places are to start and stop the different sections of the weld.
I'm left handed so I've been starting at 12 o'clock and welding to 3 o'clock, then working the opposite quadrant, from 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock. Then the 3 o'clock to 6 o'clock quadrant and finally the 9 o'clock to 12 o'clock quadrant.
Finding the right hand, body and work piece positions so that the welding goes well is tricky. More practice is needed.

After 2 years of saying "I would love to take some photos of your welding shop" I finally brought my camera over to John's welding shop. I was not disappointed.
This is Port Weld where Ho Yu Hang's movie was shot here, Rain Dogs. But this is shot by me lah, hahaha. This is the jetty for fisherman dock. It's evening and the fishermen and returning from catching sea creatures. The beautiful sunset and calm environment, it's so serene here. Upstair there's a seafood restaurant and it's call Restaurant Tepi Sungai. Not expensive at all.
