Not very often I get blown away but this set was awesome and totally ripped my head open !! I especially loved the dark random noise from the rear speakers !
Winckley Weekender. The Winckley Square area in Preston has a two-day festival. Street traders selling cooked food, a fashion show and street performers.

A former friend told me not to buy this pattern because I "probably don't have the skills to make it." I'm never a better crafter than when I'm fueled by spite apparently, cause there it is, with all the called for interfacing and everything.
Blogged about here elliek.wordpress.com/2008/06/08/pictures-of-my-bagand-my-... and here elliek.wordpress.com/2008/06/11/pockets/ and here elliek.wordpress.com/2008/07/11/it-is-finished/
Ta-da!
The completed bag.
Very happy with it.
Follow the excellent experiences of the Weekender Tote sew along
My modifications:
* Used fusible Vilene H640 fusible wadding as well as heavy fusible interfacing. Gives great sturdiness with softness.
* Added purse feet & Keyring/swivel clasp
* Was included as optional tip, which I did- placed plastic support in base of bag for sturdiness.
I'd call myself an "advanced beginner" at sewing, so leaned heavily on the advice from these blog posts (and the links contained within them):
