Category: Creative
I Could not pick just one picture :D
My daughter Angelika showing how not to wear face mask .
Freedom of the open road
A venture out during normal daylight hours for this weeks shot, the rape seed fields are coming to an end, but there was still enough colour left for this pic, the MG B GT came along at just the right time, got lucky again :-)

19th February - 25th February
you can't get out of this skin
My week was good in general except some health problems and I finally managed to go out more to take photos. On Friday I was at a concert and I can say it was great. Wonderful things start to happen again, like getting to know amazing human beings.
Spring! It's really here...Finally! Cherry blossoms and all! Now Mom is placing me in front of every flower tree there is and grabbing pictures. Please tell her to stop.
Had to resort to SW for this week's challenge. Used the Spiralysis tool from the internet to convert a small table clock to this spiral and added just a bit of color toning for interest.
A very busy week combined with the difficult job of finding a natural landscape in Singapore. There are but very few and none close to where I live. Not happy with my image but didn't want to miss a week so it'll have to do. This was taken at a nearby park shortly before sunset today.
I was always one of those annoying kids who had to have their pencils arranged in colour order and I still am.
One A Week in 2020 -- The seed is a little weather beaten but given our recent rain it is not too bad.
Theme of The Week - Against the Rules
Don't center your subject, don't have a busy background, don't cut off body parts
"Home is a shelter from all sorts of storms."
Week 3/52
Growing up, I always found comfort in my books. I would read for hours, always taking me to a new and exciting place. I was never bored, there was always another book for me to dive into. Although it feels like I haven't picked up a book in ages, I have always felt more comfortable in solitude than in large crowds. I usually like to shoot my self portraits alone as well, it's more of a transformative process and a way to center myself again.
This is my week three image and boy was I sitting on this for two days too long. Trying to get all the books, candles, and kitty just right drove my inner perfectionist insane. I still feel as if it's not done, but I'm trying to see this 52 Week project as a way to let go.
So here it is.
Also, check me out on Facebook. I tend to post things there first and usually more images to a series. Like my page to keep up to date with what I'm doing!
This is Helgi Bjarnason, 25 and lives in Reykjavík. I haven´t photographed Helgi often, as a matter of fact only once for a cover for Intersport in July this year. I just thought he was a perfect candidate for Batman in our superhero series as he is in very good shape, as you can see.
I wanted the same look to this image as with the Superman shot we did with Arnar in May (see week 19 in this series) so it´s also lit with 5 lights, one from my right side as main light, another from the left as fill light, two for backlighting and a fifth for the backround.
Henný and Eva Hrönn did the makeup/bodypaint and this time we put a skull cap on Helgi as he has got hair and I didn´t think that fit with the theme. That skull cap was also bodypainted as they only come in skin color. The ears are pieces of cardboard they painted and the cloak just some sowing material we bought.
Shot a couple of more on green screen and am going to post soon an image of him as the guardian of peace in Reykjavik, you´ll just have to wait and see what I mean by that :)

I was hoping to get out and about and take a photo of a fantastic looking ceiling but I've been out very little this last week. Also the weather hasn't helped - solid
grey sky - hate them. This will have to do. This is the Ron's Hide at Lee Farm Lake. Basically it's a wooden shed. It's a bit better than a normal shed. It's lined with plywood as you can see in the photo. It does have seating and as it's restricted to members only, it does not get too busy.
Sorry I've been very busy this week, I've only been sleeping about an hour or two a day, if I get to sleep at all.
This is just a rushed photo, I'm so sorry T_T It doesn't have any significance or look interesting or anything.
I'm tired and I need a break =(
I messaged the impersonator and the website which the impersonator is posting the photographs but I have not heard from either one of them. This kind of sucks.
I don't think it's fair to steal my photos, calling them photos of you, saying you took the photo, you did the post processing. I feel like posting the person's link here but ah >< nevermind. Oh well.
Credits to ISOstock for the smoke.
both these snowy views were taken a few weeks ago but as they fitted the challenge I thought I would cheat :)
Inspiration: #NoFilter
No limit on what you shoot this week, as long as the image is pure. No filters, presets or other edits. Basic exposure corrections only this week.
Second in a series of photos. The first in the series in the first comment box.
52 weeks of 2017 - spades
Trying to catch up.
The Empire State Building as seen from Gantry Plaza State Park in Long Island City Queens. Lit up for NYC Pride Week 2014.
This is the enormous stained glass window behind the altar of the church I attend. During services the sunlight streams through the colored glass and illuminates the sanctuary with a warm glow.
Week 23 - SEASONS
This week our theme is SEASONS (Summer, Spring, Fall Winter). The focus is on the Outdoors using Natural Light.
