While walking around one spring day, I found this little friend tending to its web. I only noticed them because the light struck their web causing it to sparkle like diamond rope. When I stopped to take this capture I noticed their lovely coloring, the greens and yellows. What a beautiful spider, what a gorgeous web, on such a lovely day. Thanks for letting me enjoy it with you, my lovely spidery friend.

In der Vorschau sehe ich großartige Bilder bei Euch allen, liebe Freunde - I'm finding excellent pictures today - kommentieren kann ich erst später - die Zeit fehlt jetzt - I'm in a hurry - sorry.
Weber's transport, and a "Parade of Progress" scale truck. You can see a "Four-S" truck in the garage.
When I was out and about today, I saw this and had to have that moment in time! I couldn't resist the colors in that web...
I highly encourage you to view large on black!
It's taken me a few days to deal with this, but I'm glad I have, at last.
I came across this quite small spider busily spinning her web and made myself watch for about ten minutes.
The speed with which she completed each circuit was breathtaking and I was fascinated by the way she used her right back leg to place the silk precisely on the cross threads, where it stuck (I assume with the sticky gum the spider produces) as she moved on to the next cross-thread.
Coping with the close-up image has been harder, but it's my aversion therapy :).
