You know those shots you take and realize only when you get home that when viewed at 100% it just isn't perfectly sharp? Well, this one qualified under that category. I took out the 135mm and shot at a pretty safe shutter speed, yet there is slight camera shake/blur. I suppose this one will be classified as "web only".

Spiders have cunningly set webs across a light like naturalists setting up nocturnal insect traps, insects being lured onto the web like ships led on to shore by wreckers. Here, a bit of web repair being undertaken.

Who would have thought there are rainbows in a cobweb! This spiderweb was in many layers outside my home and the delicate shimmers made a challenge for me to shoot handheld. The full version may not look interesting but sure enough, when you look at the largest view you see the bokeh, the iridescence, the rainbows and even a bit of the layers of the web.
I know, I know...what is it with me and webs lately? Yesterday I found an orb weaver in the garage. No good photo, but I had to shake my head. SoCal belongs to the spiders!

Another view of that fabulous web I found in front of my parked car. It was lit by the Parking Lot lamps. It was huge, being at last 2 feet across.

So I had previously added a mock-up of a website that we couldn't end up going with. The new direction is a word press theme that I have the duty of choosing colors and such.
So here is the explanation...The red text is not staying but I didn't feel like replacing it all. I did a screen capture and cut out the individual content boxes because I didn't want to spend the time recreating each one. The banner including the logo and picture content are not final but i just wanted to throw something in there.
These were the requests for the overall design:
Design: Clean and bright
Focus: Family, ministries and current message
Additional Functions: Welcome to newcomers, calendar, drop down list to reach all areas on site
