I'm sure the spider who owns this web was aiming to catch something a little more nutritious, however the mist this morning had other ideas. I'm just addicted to water drops in spider webs....
This is one of the very first macro pictures I took during the year (2017). I'm not sure if it is sharp enough for flickr but I keep being drawn to it when I look back at the pictures I took this year and the colour of the background draws me to this spiders web. So I'm going to upload to judge whether it has any merit or not...lol

Tiny spider 4-5 mm (probably a juvenile?) with spiral stabilimentum. The spiral is irregular and was probably made in several parts. Composite image to better show the spider.
I have seen many photographs of spider webs on Flickr this summer. They are all so unique and artistic. Here is mine. I happened to see thousands of spider webs while walking to the misty prairie (previous and next pictures). I usually pass this prairie by car. If I hadn't done Flickr, I would never have thought of shooting spider webs.
Well maybe not really, more of a close-up of the strings on an old tennis racket, but if you're a Star Trek fan you'll understand. Made for Macro Monday, Theme: "String". The image is about an 1 1/2 " square.
Happy Macro Monday - HMM

Je suis retournée à l'endroit dans le jardin où j'avais vu l'araignée précédemment postée et elle était là , fidèle au poste. Suivant l'endroit où on se place les couleurs du fond sont différentes car les arbustes sont variés.
I went back to the spot in the garden where I had found the spider I posted recently and it was still there. The colours of the background vary according to the angle from where I shoot because there are different bushes there with different colours. Loved those hues here.
