Spiders Web, Portugal, Covilhã

Again a bit cliche but you gotta admire an optimistic spider

Caught this spider spinning a web... He didn't know I was there!

spider web, my garden

I went up the hill yesterday morning to get pictures of the fog. I found a little fog, but I also found a LOT of orb webs. I'd never seen so many in one place before. This shows one area of the hillside with a web on practically every weed. I can count at least 24 webs in this shot. The fog & mist added drops to the webs for some cool photo ops. See my other shots from this morning, too.

I took this picture of web on a foggy day in 2011.

Day 59: Negative web with water drops

Early morning sun on this web makes it look a bit magical I think.

_AM18496 web

Discovered this large, complex spider web hanging between segments of an agave plant. That it was able to get this large is I think related to the agave being on a trail that I suspect is infrequently used. Seen in Balboa Park.

By the lake shore, this web was soaked by the fogs moisture. As the morning sun burned the mist off, the web lit up as if someone turned the lights on.
