and so is the rest of her front leg. I guess that is one way to get rid of a pesky bee sting. It was fairly windy here in sydney over the weekend and as a result her web is a bit of a mess. However our hero (heroine) seems to be fine... even if she does only have 7 legs.

Another dewy misty morning being rural now we are surrounded by critters and evidence of critters.
I know I took a picture of spider webs yesterday but seeing this one this morning it was an opportunity I didn't want to miss especially with the edition of the water drops and refracted flowers.
I'm especially proud of the way this picture came out because I think it's beautiful and I am NOT by any stretch of the imagination a photographer, however much I wish.
there is a bit of fence that i pass on my walks where the spiders build their homes. i am always amazed at the way they shine in the light.
Poudre river. Sunset in winter. I almost fell in while taking these shots. One leg started drifting out on a mini iceberg as it broke away from the shore. At this temperature, I would have been in some trouble.
Lensbaby 3G f/11. I added a warm up filter in PS on this one. It was sunset so it already had a warm feel to it.
