A spider web covered in morning dew. Taken outside our house this morning as I set off for work.

Refraction is a wonderful thing with macro photography - this photo is created with a simple recipe; you'll need:
- a spider web
- a flower
- a mist spray bottle
- a flash
spray the web and put the flower behind, aim the flash at the flower and away you go!

- actually it's indoors; I'd wanted to photograph the web strung across the garden path, but it was blowing about too much in the breeze.

The rising sun illuminates the Manhattan skyline as shot from Brooklyn Bridge Park. Shot with a Sony A6500 and 18-55 lens with 10-stop neutral density filter.
The sun was backlighting and revealing this gorgeous web and Garden Spider (Orb Weaver) so beautifully, it just had to be snapped...! ;-)

I cheated and used a star filter on my camera to get the sparkle on this dew covered spider web.
