Since getting my macro lens earlier this year I've been waiting to catch spider webs on a foggy morning - not really got the light on this but with a bit of slidin' managed to get a bit of contrast out of it.
I wonder whether these dew-covered webs were made by two spiders or just a single individual particularly desperate for breakfast. Unfortunately it rather looks like there were no catches this time on either web.
I went outside this morning to get some shots of the heavy fog we have today, and I happened across this beautiful dew covered web....
We are supposed to have partly sunny weather today, after the fog lifts, so I might try to go out then and see if I can get a better shot that isn't quite so grainy.
2010 - Day 203. July 22, 2010.
The first thing I saw when I stepped into my back garden this morning was a spider web glowing in the early morning light. I used my fractalius plugin in Photoshop to play up the surreal mood of the scene.
A Macro Mondays submission on the topic "Holes". A house spider has created a hole in its web, creating a tunnel leading to its home.
There were lots of tiny webs hanging from a hedge on my driveway this morning. They looked great in the morning dew.

IC 342 (also known as Caldwell 5) is an intermediate spiral galaxy in the constellation Camelopardalis relatively close to the Milky Way. Despite its size and actual brightness, its location in dusty areas near the galactic equator makes it difficult to observe, leading to the nickname "The Hidden Galaxy"
