Back to that little spiderweb again. Half of it got destroyed last night in the wonderful, blessèd long rain we FINALLY got! That was sad for the spider but this morning, her web is bedizened with diamond droplets GALORE!!!

After a day of soggy fog the sun broke through for 10 minutes before it set for the day.

 

Fortunately I'd nipped out down the lane and had my camera with me, right time, right place for once.

 

No time to mess about as the light went as quick as it came, it was gone by the time I'd fired off a couple of shots.

 

Straight out of camera, no time to mess. Canon 90D with my 18-135 at 135mm

The unseasonably warm weather during the last days seems to have inspired the young spiders to weave their first webs.

this morning the defrosting dew drops looked like diamonds decorating the web

Another Orb weaver spider hanging around waiting for a meal to drop in. This one is under our balcony.

Trying to shoot a floating Spider web on a windy day.

I just liked how the backgrounds colours fell into sections behind the webs strands.
