My first try at painting the sea; I thought a big wave would be nice to try.

Shot frame after frame as the waves hit the rocks here. This was the best one. Good movement in the waves, nice light form the sun and a good foreground with the rocks.

There must be some way of dampening the effect of wind on one's mic so that you can hear the waves rather than the wind. You don't get problems like this with still photos ...

Thurso Bay

After all the rain and snow I spent some time at the swollen river Danube. I was greeted by flooded fields and crashing waves at the local fish pass. How pleased I was when I remembered that I brought my wellies. I took a couple of short exposure shots, but wasn't happy with the result. It was time to get the tripod out and the long exposure shots made my day :).
