Watching the waves crash on the rocks from the shore near the town of Æðuvík located on the southernmost tip of Eysturoy Island.

Waves rolling into the beach at Esquimalt Lagoon from the Strait of Juan de Fuca with a dramatic sky over the Olympic Mountains in the background

From a sunrise shoot with fellow flickr photographers Archie McCafferty and Warwick Briggs at Susan Gilmore Beach, NSW; Australia this week.

Lee hard 0.9 grad and Zomei 3 stop ND filters used to achieve an exposure around 0.5 seconds and blur the water.

This beach was once infamous as a nudist beach, but with more relaxed public acceptance of partial nudity on most beaches; this tends not to happen here nowadays.

Whoa! strange ocean slush waves in Cape Cod. Dapixara photo.

Photos I took of WAVES.

Sunset in Laguna Beach, California. Clean conditions with smooth ocean surface and good lighting from the sunset. The waves were really good with the low tide. I’m standing in knee deep water as these walls of water were rolling into shore.

Today was a perfect Sydney autumn day - sea temperature perfect for swimming. This picture taken in the surf at Manly.

Dolphin Beach this morning. Timing and Light

Continuing on with this black and white spree I've been going on. This is a re-edit of a black and white I decided to add a bit of color to.

The river and its waves are one

surf: where is the difference between the river and its waves?

When the wave rises, it is the water; and when it falls, it is

the same water again. Tell me, Sir, where is the distinction?

Because it has been named as wave, shall it no longer be

considered as water?

Ocean Waves - taken from a cliff in the Awabakal Nature Reserve, Lake Macquarie, NSW, Australia

Just as it was...

This is not a modified pic.. I just tempered a little with a brighter color and trimmed a little sand... but everything else is as it was taken.. the shape f the wave is impressive.. there was a Storm going out there in the Pacific and though we had clear skies we had a red flag that prevented us from swimming due to the storm...

I didnt care too much.. as long as i had my camera.. =)
