The work area is roped off and ready for the next crew to backfill the sheet drains with sand and finish laying 3/4" minus gravel.
Sight Seeing at Mt. Si. This plane entertained us while we were on top making several passes above and below us.
Once the re-alignement was useable, we created a detour off of the old trail with flagging and started de-compacting the old trail.
This picture shows the decompacted old trail as well as a section of the re-alignment that needs to be adjusted to perfect the arc of the curve as it ties into the existing trail.
This shot illustrates how the newly aligned trail will drop into the most wet area, then climb out again. This allows us to install the sheet drains to collect water at the bottom of the swale and will help keep water from flowing down the trail.
This shot shows come nice curves, but also a slight flat spot that needs to be pushed out to match the arc of the curve near the far end of this re-alignment.

While walking up a path near Paradise I came across this curious chipmunk. He stopped for a few pictures before running off.
