I dont know how this small sign was supposed to work or help. It was placed on the fence of a house, just at the right angle bend of the road! The right-hand side says "akarui uchi ni ie ni kaerimashou!!"
I know the words but can't string them together into a sensible translation. Google translates it as "Go home to home before it gets dark!!".
The left-hand side says "yo michi chuu i"
Here, I know the first two (night, street), and I think the other two make up part of "be careful". Google offers "Note street at night".
The very bottom line reads "Kawagoe keisatsusho": Kawagoe police station. So this is a serious poster?
The line just above that, neither I nor Google can make sense of: "sei shou nen wo sodateru fu/fuu/to/tomi do mi chi/ji ku kai gi". Google offers "Futo foster youth conference looking pond area". Um.
