This is a sign I came across on Mt.Alyeska. Being raised in the flatlands you don't think about things like this.
Took a hike earlier today to the beautiful waterfall at Eaton Canyon.

The old lock up at Ross-on-Wye, now known as the Old Jail was only used between 1838 and 1844 to hold prisoners. So who knows what they now do with people who park in the wrong place, drink alcohol in the streets or fail to clean up after their dogs!
Tuzla, Constanța county, Romania, presents a strange variation of the traffic warning sign "Children". The sign, despite its strange appearance, is actually new, made with modern reflecting material. The sign on the other side of the highway is the plain standard Romanian model.
I took the Cog Railway up Pikes Peak and hiked down Barr Trail. All photos have some degree of HDR in them. Some more some less.
At the beginning of the steep driveway, up to the law office where Amanda works, is this cautionary sign for those wishing to exit. Allgood is heavily trafficked. It’s not an casual warning.
"Protected place: No admittance to unauthorised persons". Possibly the most graphic "Keep out!" sign I've ever seen, on the boundary of what looked like a container port (Keppel Container Terminal?). Taken from a distance, in case one's not supposed to photograph signs like this in Singapore.
Prairie State Park, Barton County, Missouri, USA.

The actual translation is close but not quite literal - ระวัง (rawang) is "be careful ; watch out for ; be cautious", หิน (hin) is rock/stone, ลื่น (leun) is swerve/slip/slide. I think they mean to say "be careful, the rocks are slippery" but I don't know Thai grammar very well.
... at the entrance of this site is a "no camera sign", yet it is OK for them to film you ... I'm not sure if photography is a crime, but trespassing is :)
Submitted to monthly scavenger hunt - October 2010 (photography is not a crime)
