I had a wander down Morecambe Prom yesterday with all the other Easter Sunday Promenaders. Snapped this in between the crowds and quite like it.....don't usually do people :-)

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

This thing must be photographed by every tourist who wanders the South Bank to see Big Ben. It is of course the London Eye - basically a massive technologically jazzed up ferris wheel. This shot looks up from below. After all the colour in my previous post, I've removed it from this one - to keep things mixed up and keep you guessing.

Funny thing is that Cloudia from the London Elephant Parade, 2010, had a ride on the Eye.

Wandertag vom KBA Democenter von Decin nach Dolny Zleb (Böhmische Schweiz)

I wandered around Maine and Vermont for about 10 days in 1981. Two spotless M636's leading a pair of clean RS18's on eastbound train 908 getting ready to depart Brownville Junction was one of the highlights of my visit.

I wandered my house this evening, looking for all the right colors.

Nach einem kräfteraubenden Aufstieg auf über 2500 Meter über Meer ergab sich diese wunderbare Aussicht.

Most people know York Minster and the Shambles but wander around and look up; you'll see architectural styles and curiosities that span the ages.

York is a walled city in northeast England that was founded by the ancient Romans. Its huge C13th Gothic cathedral, York Minster, has medieval stained glass and 2 functioning bell towers. The City Walls form a walkway on both sides of the River Ouse. The Monk Bar gate houses an exhibition tracing the life of 15th-century Plantagenet King Richard III.

The word York (Old Norse: Jórvík) derives from the Latinised name for the city, variously rendered as Eboracum, Eburacum or Eburaci. The first mention of York by this name is dated to circa 95–104 AD as an address on a wooden stylus tablet from the Roman fortress of Vindolanda in Northumberland.

Although not pictured in this album, York is also the home of the National Railway Museum and was the home of Terry's Chocolate.

It's been a while, HBW!

I really like the colour in these fields, Anya and I went for a wander in them.

Some more landscapes from another walk in my favorite places.

While I know we've got it far better than most places, walking the same paths day in and day out, I've gotten to naming the various weeds on my routes.

The results from one of Alistair's wee wanders with the camera club last week in Glasgow. A nice night with good people, but fecking freezing!!!

Today I spent time with one of my dearest friends in the world.

This girl Is so precious.

I am thankful for her.

We walked and talked and laughed for hours.

We're going to travel together someday soon.

I hope you had as lovely of a day as I did.

Tempered glass, giant glass gems, glass beads.

These pictures put me in mind of autumn which I'm sort of desperately loniging for at this point. I'm excited for cooler weather and golden days and the prospect of taking this guy out in the actual fall leaves for pictures.

Another advantage of overnighting in one of their rental cottages is that you get to wander the grounds after the day visitors have vacated.
