I think this was Vanessa's first wallet and she learned some things from it. It was really beautiful when new, one of my favorite gifts EVER! The back said "eat shit," and she came up with this design all on her own (but I guess "inspired" by me somehow?)

Had a meeting tonight with some friends and one of them had this cool NES controller wallet. I'm just not hip or geek enough to pull it off.

Back of the wallet. Made using the Beautiful Balance sewing pattern from Amy Butler's Style Stitches book, and fabric from Kate Spain's Central Park.

I reviewed this sewing pattern on my blog!

Back-Pocket Wallets in their sweet lil' carrying case.

This is Michie's suitcase from when she was a child that Ellen recovered...notice the bright red ruffle and hinge-cover that are original to the suitcase. You can't see it, but scrawled on the red hing-cover is "Michelle Blevins" that Michie wrote when she was about 6... :)

Sending to my nephew...soon

I worked from home today because I was working on a map and I didn't have the proper software on my work computer. Of course, working from home means more distractions - and thus the reason I'm still working past 10 pm - I had a day full of procrastination (but still needed to put in a full work day).

I didn't get started until late morning - then I got a phone call from the police station today saying that they had my wallet - I lost it over three months ago!! So instead of waiting until the end of the day to pick it up - I went straight down to get it. My watch was also there - hooray! And even after all this time, I still hadn't bought a new watch or wallet (couldn't find one I liked) - so this is so great.

After picking up my wallet, I was close to the supermarket, so I decided to go grocery shopping (instead of coming home to get back to work). After getting home, I went with a friend to the gym to workout (thus my workout clothes). More procrastination, of course.

I definitely tend towards procrastination - though I've been really good lately, and a day like this is certainly not the norm anymore.

This shot is for FGR and T-shirt Tuesday, as well as TRP and Procrastination Station.

New wallets, I love these gorgeous fabrics and can't decide which one I like best for me!

My teal leather wallet looks fat here, but it's not stuffed with money any more after our recent vacation! This is drawn with a mechanical pencil in my travel kit.

After Kevin lost his wallet he told me that all it would take to get everything cancelled was one phone call. Cue numerous phone calls and valuable time wasted.

SOLD. This rustic looking wallet is made using exclusively upcycled materials.

It matches my Corduroy Feline Circles and Wine Spiral Bag and my Stripe Bag with herringbone Straps as well.

The materials used are an assortment of fabrics from my scrap bin: cotton, polyblends, a stretch corduroy, synthetic fleece, flannel and a synthetic yarn left from my knitting season last year.
