A leather wallet found in Sapporo. It seems that up to 20 cards can be stored in the pocket. Also, since the center is wide open, coins can be easily taken out.
I bought it because I was impressed by the minimal design like "Origami".

My TUMI FXT Wallet that has seen better days.
Just a quick handheld shot of my wallet for a blog entry. I placed the wallet on my component rack and used the light fro the window to take this shot. If I had any sense, I’d have used a tripod.
I had to crop to get it in because I was near the close focusing distance. Hmm, I should mess with the Canon 500D diopter and this lens. :-)

I'm absolutelly amazed of how thin this wallet is. To the left my old (and empty) Kenneth Cole Reaction wallet that has been my favorite through the years, to the right is the ALL-ETT european leather billfold wallet that has all the cards and IDs I carried on the old one (plus a few bills). It even arrived inside a standard mail envelope. That's how thin it is.

I'm really happy with the wallet, except that the cards keep slipping from the slots. I should have used stiffer interfacing. I'll probably end up making another one, but I don't have any more of this fabric (it was a remnant), and I love love love it, so I'll make it work as is for as long as I can.

I bought myself these limited edition vinyl wallets from a place called urbanretro.co.uk, it's pretty fancy and makes my day slightly chirpy whenever I see it. It also came with a badge. Sorry for abusing the "glow" feature on picasa hehe.
I made a pit stop at the cafe today. The usual suspect were drinking coffee at the preferred table, so I joined them. The birdwatcher among them told me of a sighting of a White Stork in Tungelsta, but when I checked out the area later in the day I couldn't spot the bird. This wallet belongs to the pipe organ tuner in our little group. He told me that there's really not any cash in it just other stuff.
