Forget-me-not on the riverbank. These are the footprints of Lutra lutra, the European Otter, our native species here in the UK. Sadly I have never seen one, footprints may be as close as I ever get to this elusive creature.
I'm so fed up with scraping mud out of my house that I intend to replace the furnishings to co-ordinate with it. You can now have mud on anything or EVERYTHING and no need to clean up! It's going to save a bunch of time.
This design is inspired by the Hyacinth Macaw. It is the largest flying parrot species. Native to South America habitat loss and the trapping of wild birds for the caged bird trade have taken a heavy toll on their population in the wild ©2018 Alex Morgan All Rights Reserved

Found this 13" wall clock today. Looks like a pocket watch. Others I have seen online have a chain attached. Darn.
A model by United Clock Corp. - the date on the inside of the case indicates it was made in October, 1957.
The metal cleaned up nicely and it keeps very good time!
($3.50)

This is my entry for a contest on DeviantArt!
The theme was dream foods. I wanted some fresh fruits, jam cookies, and some tea!
All parts execpt clock are handmade from clay.
Wall clocks for sale at the Woodstock-New Paltz Arts and Crafts Fair at the Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz NY. Taken with a Canon 18-55mm IS lens. Type L for a better view.
This clock is truly a cacophany of design! It was made on the foundation of a background vinyl record with, what I think is, a plastic paper plate holder (my grandmother had these), and a center cd heavily designed. Even the balls around the outside are covered in golden designs and beads and wire abound!

My taxi driver picked a 'cheapest and best' Malaysian restaurant, where you had to pick your dishes from a cluster of tubs containing rather pungent looking and oily fare on display. Reminded me of my trip to Sandakan just six months earlier. I missed the stingray on offer, I thought it was something else. While waiting for our order, I spotted this elegant Islamic themed wall clock. Now I live in Dubai, which in between all its show off and glamour and money making does sometimes put out 'Islamic art' by accident. But this was the most beautiful piece of Islamic art I'd seen in a long, long time. (Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Apr/ May 2014)

I'm sure a lot of people look at the clock, wondering when quitting time or bed time is going to happen.

Shrine and LCD digital clock in the ruined Nawabi Mahal [Tomb], in the British Residency park in Lucknow (India)
The caretaker of the Nawabi Mahal is apparently obsessed by Time, as I counted seven clocks hanging from the walls in the upstairs room.
This ruined building is called Nawabi Mahal [Tomb] or Nawabi Masjid [Mosque] or the Imambara. Not sure what the correct name is.
I suppose that this is the tomb of one of the Nababs of Lucknow. If you have more information about the Nawabi Mahal, please post a comment!

On April 25, 2012, my Wife and I drove from Florida to New Jersey to attend my Wife's High School Reunion. When we reached Richmond, Virginia, I made a stop at Richmond's Main Street Train Station to take some photographs. I took this photograph on the second floor waiting room. Just after I took this Photo a Northbound AMTRAK Train arrived.

Trevellas Porth Cove is just around the corner from St Agnes. The valley here was once at the heart of a large scale mining operation (the Blue Hills mine) the ruins of which remain as a poignant reminder of the area's industrial heritage.
Today, this is one of the North coast's quieter beaches with rarely more than a handful of people on the sandy shingle beach.
