Eight best natural for sleep aids
In the long term, lack of sleep can be bad for health. This condition can make you more easily sick and prone to accidents while driving.
Generally, doctors will prescribe sleeping pills or melatonin supplements. You may also do therapy to overcome insomnia.
However, there are natural ways that you might consider. Some herbal remedies can also be used as home remedies for insomnia.
1. Valerian root
Valerian root has long been used as a home remedy for insomnia; valerian root is also commonly used to treat anxiety disorders, depression, and menopause symptoms.
According to some studies, taking 300–900 mg of a valerian root supplement before bed can trigger drowsiness more quickly. This herb is also known to improve sleep quality.
All the study results were seen based on measurements taken during sleep. Measurements were made of brain waves and heart rate.
Research in the American Journal of Medicine states its consumption in the short term is relatively safe. However, pregnant and lactating women should avoid this herbal sleeping remedy.
2. Chamomile tea
Chamomile tea is a drink that has a calming effect. These effects can relax the body and mind and make it easier for you to rest.
In addition, chamomile tea is different from tea in general which usually contains caffeine.

Taken at uh around 7:30am Which is early for me those days. I've fallen into this terrible habit of waking up to my alarm at 9, hitting the slumber button every few minutes until it's 9:30-10 and then frantically get ready within 5 minutes and ride over to work.
Gone are the days when I used to get up at 6am, have some tea, then go clean the daycare in Fernwood for a hour, walk back home just as the sun came out and have breakfast before going to work. Now I can't even remember the last time I saw the sun rise!
BUT today I woke up at 7am... and had some coffee and made lunch. I'm usually not much of a breakfast person. By that I mean I don't like to eat when I wake up, I prefer to wait a couple hours, and then eat. I'm all about breakfast related food, especially as dinner. Mmm french toast, crepes, pancakes, and so on! This morning I made fried some bacon [yes i am obsessed], egg and then put some cheese on top and made it into a sandwich to take to work with me... it was goddamn delicious!
Let's see if I manage to wake up at 7 again tomorrow...
I finished this painting on Thursday and last night I tried to add to it, but could not. I feel it is complete.
there is a text attached to the painting, but... I ran out of room, and can not have it in the painting as I would have liked. I will perhaps paint it on a seperate page and make it a diptik.

May I just mention that there are fewer things more difficult on this earth than trying to remember your multiples of nine during a 6am hangover? I find it to be ironic that the most trustworthy and reliable device in my home is also the one for which I hold the most animosity.

Yup...this is me upon waking up in the morning. I think I had been awake for about 30 minutes when I snapped this. I was feeling tired and I knew I had a really hectic day ahead of me, so I was not looking forward to going into work. I guess you could say that I was a little down.
Aside from my obvious bedhead, this photo is actually pretty bad. But, I sort of feel like the fuzzy, grainy, poor exposure lends itself well to how I feel in the mornings. So yah...it might not show me in the best light, but I'm just gonna keep on being real. I don't know any other way to be.
We were teased yesterday, with a little bit of snow mixed with rain, but this morning when I woke up there was actually snow on the ground!
This is a shot of me sitting on my back porch steps, right on the edge of the new fallen snow. Not nearly enough..still just a teaser, but it's falling pretty hard now, so we'll see!
