This morning was the beginning of the "I only want Daddy" day which was quite stressful. We don't know why but for whatever reason Zoey only wanted me all day long and in to the next day (it actually started the night before when she was waking up crying and wouldn't stop unless I was there). This was in the morning after we all woke up and she was enjoying some attention on the bed, I took advantage of the nice natural light coming in and snapped this shot.

Feeding herself this morning. What a big girl she is getting to be. She will be 7 months old on Nov. 4.
This Arctic Ground Squirrel happened to take a big yawn just as I snapped the shot. I guess such a long winter of hibernation can only be sloughed off with a few really big yawns.
"Just let me sleep!"
(Yes, I slept in the car, as it's far more comfy than the tent. And yes, sometimes I slept with the sunroof open during the rain.)

a collection of snapshots taken just now over the span of like...5 minutes? It's pretty sloppy in how it was thrown together, but they're just quick snapshots that were too cute to just sit on my hard drive, and I've got too much to do to actually sit and edit them in to anything real.
So yea...I went to go take a shower and decided to leave him out...which is essentially the same as leaving him home alone, because my dad is gone and my mom is asleep since she worked last night. We went out and played in the snow this morning so he was kind of tired. After I got dressed and everything I went to check on him, and he was dead asleep. A few minutes passed and he started to wake up from his nap...he's SO adorable when he first wakes up, because it's such a gradual process.
So yea...this is what ensued!
