waking up is hard sometimes.

Made during a camping trip in late september. I think it was the fog that created the third reflection. Anyway, it looked pretty alien planet to me, haha.

I love breakfast. I love it so much that I spend 80% of my falling-asleep time thinking about the delicious cereal I'm going to be eating in a few hours (this has the upside of making late nights more bearable -- less time to wait until EATING!!!).

Speaking of cereal, I've discovered the most perfect bowl for this delightful food (see above)! It's got just the right size, depth, polish, and color; I love the handle, which gives me the freedom to carry my breakfast all over the place! Also, I'm a huge nut about mixing different cereals together -- here I added some Multigrain Cheerios to my Honey Nut ones (yes, I know the former contains the latter, but it just isn't sweet enough on its own!); the combo isn't so adventurous, but it did make my breakfast more SATISFYING :) One of my all-time favorite combos is Cinnamon Toast + Cocoa Puffs, a sugary, incredibly fattening dream.

Tomorrow morning (or noon. most likely noon), I'm going to mix Life with my Honey Nut Os. Bwuahaha.

Today is the first day of my vacation. I am taking a week off from work to do some things around the house and take some Spring photos.

While I was enjoying the quiet of the morning, I decided it was a good time to practice some existing light photography. I wanted to test the limits of one my cameras and lenses. I am very happy with the quality of this photo for the conditions it was taken in. This is taken under my desk in a dimly lit room with no flash. It was hand held at 1/30th of a second with my 135mm lens. I applied curves and Neat Image noise reduction in CS2. I am amazed that it is even worth saving!
