This is my limited Wakeup Cue from PW's Christmas event that I never got around to photographing.
I really need to get her some clothes!
Sis's pooch has decided to now sleep in my room on a towel each night. She has slow starts to the a.m. Here for Christmas is the shot I took this morning before Vanda had her comb-up. Merry Christmas all.
One of the build up events to the big meet in August. Thanks for putting this on, and please visit the site at www.wiltonclassicsupercar.co.uk or on their Facebook page.
Here’s a shot of a cedar waxwing I almost didn’t get. When it came in I was checking the inside of my eyelids for holes. When I did see the waxwing, it took me a moment to realize what I was seeing. Fortunately it was a very cooperative bird.
The Tamron performed brilliantly as usual. I was holding the camera vertical and the lens didn’t skip a beat, focus was fast and the VC was silent. However while taking these shots I came to realize just how much the lens weighs. I had to hold the camera at an upward angle above my head, without anything to steady the lens on. Between the overall weight of the lens and the length of the lens at 600mm, the Tamron will wear out your arms very quickly especially when holding the lens pointed up and you can’t brace your arms with you body. If you are looking to get this lens I would suggest you hit the gym.
