A flock of 150-200 Willets gathered on the edge of a sandbar, ready to nap for awhile. As the water level rose with the tide, they began to awaken and find themselves in shallow water.

I've only driven through this town a few times, always after picking up a meat load in Gaylord Minnesota. A Michael Farrell, a friend of ours on Flickr mentioned it before, I think he has a relative that lives here. Anyway, decided if I'd try to get a decent picture as I passed through. I was making a right turn and had a green light, but no cars behind, so I stopped in the intersection and took a picture.

Some mornings, you get rewarded for that early morning wakeup with some great light. This is one of the iconic Mormon Row barns in front of the Teton Range.

Outside it can be so beautiful when you do not expect it. I tried to photograph it. The photo is not so good. It is cold, longer outside I heard more and more the sounds of the animals and the birds.

A new day dawns over the Toledo Sub, as CSX 383 leads Q561 south through downtown Tipp City, OH on a quiet Sunday morning. On the left is the restored former B&O freight depot, which was just recently repainted.
A large male red deer announces the start of the day as he steps out from woodland cover to challenge rival males.
Two osprey fledglings (the two with the orange eyes) and an adult (with the yellow eyes) gave me a classic osprey stare. These fledglings were just starting to take their first flights when I took this shot in the early morning light - hence the tag line.
