It's Time to Wake Up

The days are going by,
Motionless black sea;
Through open unknown sky,
Into new times delivery.
The hours were strangers,
Joints are made of waves;
Burgeoning tracks and changers,
Thoughts that no one craves.
The sun flower's coming up,
In dancing shadows dying;
There is no ending or a stop,
Only the brief hours flying.
Borders of dim to follow,
Seeking some reflection veils;
Ancient light now hollow,
Fresh morning of other avails.
Switching off blinking stars,
Dancing dawn now rising;
The peaceful going memoirs,
Into colors of life devising.
Slowly the falling night skies,
Road is awaken with living;
It's time to wake up and rise,
Moments of morning giving.

This was the scene at 5:50am when I poked my head out of my tent and looked over the edge of the cliff we were camped on. That was my wake up call! I watched the sky unfold with such an array of colors over the course of half an hour. I love starting the day off like this.
When we were first married and we had our three daughters I made all six beds in the house as we had so little money.As I walked across the beach I had this idea I'd make a bed out of driftwood and have a lie down till the clouds performed. This was the quickest bed I'v ever made, and was great fun. I should have made it on a rising tide though :)) wake up sunshine is obvious and was Sue's Chicago track that brought us together. You could sleep for a maximum of about eight or nine hours till you got a little damp :)))

There is a sad story behind this photo, I saw this lovely duck(can you see the ripples?) in Alpsee, Germany. Alpsee is fantastic, but I lost all the photos on that day....
This is the only one left....
But still Aplsee is inside my memory.

The koi are ready for spring like the rest of us!!!! The water temperature is warming and they are swimming and wanting food already! lol Must admit I miss them in winter!! Hope one and all have a great Monday!!
Ripples on the quiet water, the arriving wake waves of the M/V Columbia which passed through about half an hour ago.
Taken last month when Epping Forest was still in its autumn colours - Wake Valley pond is home to over 15 species of damsel and dragonflies during the summer but now it's quiet.
