Ive recently been experimenting with the old, Russian made, Helios 44-2. Now its fungi season I was hoping to get a slightly dreamy effect and some wonderful bokeh that this old lens is renowned for.

The Helios 44-2 is a great little lens with some decent sharpness and great bokeh. It will flare when shooting into the sun compared to many modern lenses as can be seen in this image.

Now that we are in standard time, I needed to get up an hour earlier than last week to catch the sunrrise. On this chily morning (low 50F), there was not a single cloud or a shroud of fog to make the morning photo interesting. Had to resort back to this dead tree which was photographed back in March. You can see the sun rose over the same position, but the skies are quite different.

It was still dark, when I arrived at Zabriskie Point. Two other photographers were already setting up their gear. With covid running rampant, we kept our distance. While I waited for the sun to rise, I offered a prayer of gratitude ... for my health, my job, my family; for the ability to travel; for sheer beauty of the world around me. As the sun began to lighten the valley, my gratitude surged as the nuances of the desert landscape came into view.

Windkrafträder die sich die sich gegenseitig denn Wind klauen…

Wake oder (Nachlauf-Windschatten-Slipstream) bezeichnet dann den turbulenten und langsameren Windschweif hinter der Anlage.

Wie sehr dieser abgeschwächt ist, hängt vom Abstand der Anlagen zueinander, der Windrichtung und Geschwindigkeit, aber auch der Umgebung ab.

Sinnvoller wäre es, wenn man die Windturbinen besser verteil und nicht so dicht in einer relativ kleinen Fläche.

Persönlich bin nicht so begeistert von den Windkraftanlagen… sauber nachhaltige Energie JA! aber mit der Bitte an die Landschaftshaltung und Gestaltung.

Wind turbines that steal each other's wind...

Wake or (wake slipstream) then refers to the turbulent and slower wind tail behind the turbine.

The extent to which this is weakened depends on the distance between the turbines, the wind direction and speed, but also the environment.

It would make more sense to distribute the wind turbines better and not so densely in a relatively small area.

Personally, I'm not so enthusiastic about the wind turbines... clean sustainable energy YES! but with the request for landscaping and Design.
