This was dated 2016, before anything Brexity had happened apart from the vote. I didn't realise that pink wafers were so volatile. That makes me a survivor. I wonder if there is a club or something? Apparently this was due to the falling value of the Pound. Not so dangerous then. Image from www.goodto.com

Also from the site:

UK biscuits manufacturer Rivington Biscuits, part of the Netherlands-based cookies and snacks maker Van Delft, has gone into administration, it was confirmed today (15 December).

The Wigan-based company’s products include pink wafer biscuits made for supermarket own labels and also sold under the Pink Panther brand.

I love this little girl!!

The catamaran from Mumbai to Alibaug is followed by several seagulls. On one of those trips a gentlmen was feeding the seagulls and I happened to have my SLR then.

These cookies are so light and lovely. They're from Betty Crocker's old Cookie Book.

Family trip to Singapore. Ice cream sandwich, for SGD 1 :)

He really wants that ice cream, from a local organic dairy farm, France.

A wedding in May 2008. The couple opted to have full mass during their ceremony.

On our way back from camping, we stopped off at an icecream parlour where they make millions of flavours of icecream. We had Vanilla and Oreo and orange icecream with chocolate sauce and squirty cream on the top with a wafer and then lime juice squeezed over the top. Bill was the only one who didn't have brain freeze. How does he do that?

Hoards of shrimp (lots of them with eggs) and a loach are drawn to an algae wafer.

Annoyingly, it shifted when I carefully and gently let the clamp go...

Due to its application prospects in solar-blind ultraviolet detection, MgZnO alloy semiconductor films with suitable band gaps have attracted more and more attention. A series of MgxZn1-xO thin films with different compositions were prepared on M plane sapphire wafers by using low-pressure metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (LP-MOCVD).

CRYSCORE provides M plane (10-10) sapphire wafers with excellent surface quality. The roughness on the epi-polished side is lower than 0.5 nm.

Melts the caramel and the wafer is warm but still crunchy!

I eyed these at a recent supermarket trip, oh man they are so good!

It is a tradition in France to eat wafer in January to celebrate the arrival of Kings Mages

One eats wafer is the person who finds the figurine hiding place in the cake becomes King : D

This wafer had been engineered to have different reflective properties in different regions, though it's impossible to capture it all in just one photo! (www.wisdom.weizmann.ac.il/~levina/papers/BRDFfab/). There was a day of talks from cool people who were in Oxford for a conference-related meeting, and this piece was passed around after Anat Levin's really interesting talk about engineering BRDFs.

Almost too pretty to eat, but I ate it anyway.
