Shot for 'Roid Week 2014 Day 5 with a SLR 680

Another visit to Newcastle South beach NSW the other day has resulted in me being able to post this.

I felt the scene and image would lend itself to the B&W approach and reveal all these delicious furrows and tracks in the sand around the FG rock.

Hope you're having a great day and week - only a couple more days before weekends again - yipee!!

Thanks again for checking out my images.

🌸 MEATPIE MAN AVATAR

An avatar as disturbing as delicious ... if you dare to try it! This avatar turns your character into a spooky man, meat cake with a hyperrealistic design that mixes the grotesque with the fun.

The entire body is covered with baked dough that reveals, between cracks, a bloody interior, crunchy bones and rotten meat.

On Thursday July 21 we went to the Picnic Pops at Cannonsburg with friends. The Grand Rapids Symphony was playing with a band from Canada that performed music by Queen. I should of brought my 500mm lens to get a better shot of the stage but had only my 18-200 so I reverted to a little street photography.

Looking towards Dylan Thomas's boathouse, Laugharne, Wales.

I first stumbled upon this very unusual property (nicknamed "Castle on Berwyn") last winter, and posted a few pics of it. Today I was interested to explore the secluded garden area just east of the house. It's awesome...so full of architectural artifacts it might best be described as a Home for Wayward Terra Cotta. Check it out if you're ever in the 'hood.

My W Class Tram is built.

It is powered by a power functions M motor controlled by an Arduino.

This is the classic Melbourne W-Class, first produced in 1923. 752(!) were built. A small number still operate tourist services around Melbourne. The model is based on a modern upgraded tram with pantograph instead of the original trolley pole.

Takes some ideas from an earlier design by Teunis. Thanks to Michael for suggesting the Unikitty tiles for the lights.
