It was overcast and rainy day at the Leivonmäki national park in Finland. Walked there for a good time and I saw nothing to photograph, until this. Just a lonely tree leaning towards the lake with sun shining through the clouds. Simple, but it works.

Something different, first a B/W pic, second a Pano and a conversion in Nik Software. I wanted to try this for ones.

G&W 46 and 879 pass the old NYC Peanut Line station in Caledonia, NY on a rainy October 1, 2011. We were at the Genesee Country Museum for the annual poultry show and I heard the horn of this train blowing at the Mumford crossing, so I grabbed my daughter Bethany's camera and ran over to P&L Jct. to look for it. It was at P&L and preparing to back down the line into downtown Caledonia. The station now serves as a barber shop.

Story

One important ruler found a true source of wealth after his mother's death. He was in a possesion of an object that would turn everything into gold. The object was kept in golden chest, to stop turning everything into gold. There was also a huge cave underneath the castle where he kept lots of golden things, including the golden object. Handling the object was dangerous and many people lost their lives to it by turning into golden statues.

Somebody wanted to steal that object.

The ruler did everything in his power to stop it. Still, after somebody unsuccessfully broke into the castle, the object fell into lake and turned it into gold.

That made the ruler understand the actual danger connected to the object.

He sent seven most devoted people throghout the world to find the most secret place. Only one of them came back. His name was Ibrahim.

That special place was situated deep in the desert, far away from all known routes. It had a beautiful well.

The ruler erected Wly alasrar in that special place and there he hid the object that turn everything into gold. Eventually, the ruler died but people kept the object for hundreds of years.

W Webb, Alabama

Webb is a town in Houston County, Alabama in the extreme southeast corner of the state. It is named for plantation owner B.F. Webb who settled in the area around 1890.

The area was sparsely populated unitl1899 when the Central of Georgia Railroad built a line on Webb’s land. Webb donated 23 acres for the construction of a depot.

The first post office opened in 1900. Two stores were built in the area, and Webb and his son began laying out a town and selling one-acre lots. A school was constructed in 1901. The town was incorporated in 1903.

A new four-room schoolhouse was constructed in 1909, but it burned and was replaced in 1935. On January 18, 1918, a tornado struck the town, killing two and damaging a number of structures. That same tornado killed nine people in nearby Cowarts, about 8 miles (13 km) southwest as the crow flies. A new water system was completed in 1965. In 1995, Webb built a new senior center. The Town of Webb had a population of 1,556 as of July 1, 2021.

One business in this town is Webb Paranormal Group. This is a group of paranormal researchers who wish to aid individuals and administrators of public sites by offering confidential paranormal research services at no charge. Some of the several services provided include the investigation to ascertain the source of the unexplained phenomena reported in homes, businesses, or public facilities, and to document evidence of paranormal activity and unexplained apparitions as needed on a case-by-case basis.
