Good Saturday morning all and hope a great day is had as well.
As usual I did to to many images of this guy struggling with this fish for a very long time, and never did get it down. As you can see that when he speared the fish it was tangled in the heavy weeds and as he came up with this fish he also came up with the weed that wrapped completely around his neck, which I can tell you really ticked him off, and for the longest time could not get rid of it, even with all the violent shaking, but for me looked like a necklace. Sorry for the length of this but it was great to witness this whole scenario, and thanks for the visit.
Merged via photoshop. This had 2 Elinchrom flash/soft boxes. One pointing to the ceiling and the other direct at the subjects. 3 separate pictures converted to b&w and then I used photoshop to select the heads and then refined the edges. Finally I pasted the 3 heads as layers into a new black inage.
A lovely old shop front. Whitby Jet is a high quality fossilised wood and there are plenty of places selling it. Too many it would seem as W Hamond was recently on the brink of closure, however it has fortunately found the resources to continue.
Taken with my Fujifilm X-T30 II camera and a XF18-55mm lens.
Whitby, North Yorkshire.

The museum ship SS JOHN W. BROWN completes a yard period at Colonna's Shipyard in Norfolk, VA. She is seen passing through the Berkley Bridge in Norfolk in route back to her home port of Baltimore, MD.
Dont know whose this was, but this awesome W Model tagged onto the Hay Run at Mount Hope. Very nice. February 2017.
Another visit to Newcastle South beach NSW the other day has resulted in me being able to post this.
I felt the scene and image would lend itself to the B&W approach and reveal all these delicious furrows and tracks in the sand around the FG rock.
Hope you're having a great day and week - only a couple more days before weekends again - yipee!!
Thanks again for checking out my images.
