Dagje weg met de trein, op verjaardagsvisite. Lekker zonnetje maar ook vrieskou. Bevroren wachthokjes op stations maar geen vertragingen, dat mag ook wel eens in de krant.
Maar gelukkig verveel ik me nooit want ik heb altijd mijn camera bij me.

Het jaar 2016 zit er al weer bijna op. Een jaar dat vele mooie foto's werden gemaakt, mede dankzij de aanschaf van een nieuwe camera. Vanwege drukte op school en andere activiteiten heb ik weinig tijd om te uploaden of foto's te maken. Voor de kerstvakantie staan echter weer veel reisjes op het programma.
Ik wens alle mede-fotografen een fijne kerst en een gelukkig nieuwjaar!

De Intercity van Leeuwarden naar Rotterdam rijdt op 14 december 2022 voorbij 't Harde. De vrieskou werd extra benadrukt met behulp van de koplampen van de auto.

Terug in 2010 reed SBB Cargo nog de Dead Burned Magnesia tussen Veendam en Mainzlar. Deze keer was tevens de laatste rit die door SBB werd gereden. In het nieuwe jaar heeft Rurtalbahn het vervoer overgenomen. Deze laatste rit van SBB naar Mainzlar nam zelfs een omweg door Nederland. Daardoor deed hij ook het witte Den Dolder aan waar een paar fotografen in de vrieskou hem op hebben gewacht.

Roten Haus (Est +/-1760) owned by Johann Heinrich Scheibler.The Red House in Monschau, a patrician house from the 18th century. In the basement of this house, Spanish merino wool was washed and dyed using lime-free water. Spinning and weaving took place within the pre-industrial publishing system by homeworkers. In this way, the owner Johann Heinrich Scheibler of the Red House proudly told his jealous neighbors that he was "feeding 4,000 people through his factory alone.".

Monschau - Architecture
The popular historical town center has many preserved half-timbered houses and narrow streets have remained nearly unchanged since the 18th century. Very touristy in the high season but outside of this busy period you can still explore the beauty of this beautiful town.

Techniek (bewerkingen) Met Marcel Tuit vorige week zaterdag naar een vogelhut geweest en daar een dag in de vrieskou doorgebracht Zie ook mijn set Hof van Twente . Vogelfotografie laat zich maar moeilijk regisseren maar dit was wel het beeld waar ik voor ging :-))
