VPS 185 514-7 & 185 516-2, met een Innofreight ertstrein.
Wat ik ergens gelezen had, is dat eind 2021 2 erts omlopen van DB Cargo naar VPS zijn gegaan, wat naar alle waarschijnlijkheid het einde van de BR 151's op de lijn Hamburg - Beddingen betekende. Het "vreemde" is dan wel dat VPS de tractie levert, alleen de Sggmmrrs-wagens van de trein zijn dan weer van DB cargo....
Afijn, de VPS 185 514 en de 185 516 passeren hier Peine met de erzbomber uit Hamburg Waltershof Alte Süderelbe naar Beddingen.

Na DB Cargo kwam VPS weer eens langs. Na wat smerige locomotieven te hebben gezien, kwam er nu zowaar een schone aangereden !
Met een fraaie beladen staaltrein, bestaande uit ON Rail , Captrain, ERR en Nacco Shimmns passeert de trein hier de omgeving van Peine en gaat zo verder richting Lehrte en Brake.
Am Nachmittag des 15.05.2015 schiebt Lok 633 der VPS einen beladenen Fal-Wagenzug zur Sinteranlage des Stahlwerkes der Salzgitter AG in Salzgitter Hillenholz.

Mit einer Sonderleistung Salzgitter-Ilsenburg in der passenden Wolkenlücke passieren die beiden Loks das Einfahrtsignal von Schladen.

From Salzgitter, Peine and Ilsenburg VPS (in full Verkehrsbetriebe Peine Salzgitter) runs both both local and interconnecting services. Several steel plants all have their own specialisation and thus have their own needs for supplies and items moving off. And so VPS, basically the rail transport operator of the Salzgitter Gruppe, moves daily between Salzgitter and Ilsenburg. During this cloudy day their MaK 1700GG loco 1701 is on its way with scrap metal from Ilsenburg to Salzgitter.

Eine unerkannt gebliebene Diesellokomotive des Typs G1700BB zieht am 29.03.2014 einen Güterzug der Verkehrsbetriebe Peine-Salzgitter GmbH (VPS) durch den Bahnhof Schladen, südlich von Braunschweig.

Am 19.10.2014 ist die VPS 1703 der Verkehrsbetriebe Peine-Salzgitter (VPS) mit dem DGS 69340 von Blankenburg Nord nach Salzgitter-Bad unterwegs und wird in Kürze den Bahnhof Oker durchfahren.
Bei dieser Zugleistung handelt es sich um eine Rücküberführung von Leerwagen aus Blankenburg, welche im dortigen Fahrzeugwerk der Firma Fahrzeug- und Entwicklungswerk Blankenburg GmbH (FEW) instandgesetzt wurden.
VPS rijdt ijzerertstreinen van Hamburg Hansaport naar Beddingen VPS en wat vol heen gaat komt dan leeg retour, heel logisch.
Hier zien we de lege trein met de VPS 186 131 & 186 247 voorop onderweg naar Hamburg om de wagens weer te vullen met ijzererts.

Na het bezoek aan de KBS310 tussen Peine en Groß Gleidingen op 21 juni, wist ik al snel dat ik deze zomer hier nogmaals een dagje naartoe wilde gaan. Hoewel de ochtend, waarvan overigens nog een aantal foto's volgen, succesvol begon, was de rest van de dag wat aan de matige kant. Enkel aan het begin van de middag kwamen er nog een paar interessante treinen voorbij, en vlak voordat we terug richting Nederland vertrokken kwam er nog een blauwe oudgediende voorbij gereden. Telkens toen ik weer thuis zat zag ik melding na melding voorbij komen van deze spoorlijn waarover de fraaiste treinen en locomotieven reden. We hadden natuurlijk al een aantal bijzondere treinen gezien op 21 juni, maar ik moest en zou dus nog eens er naartoe rijden om mijn geluk nogmaals te beproeven. Ik moest echter even wachten totdat ik die kant op kon gaan, want door onverwachtse werkzaamheden lag het beoogde traject er bijna een maand uit. Maar in de laatste week van augustus zou het stuk spoor weer vrijgegeven geworden, en dat ging gepaard met mooi weer.
Na opnieuw een nachtelijke rit arriveerden we bij de eerste zonnestralen in Sierße, waar het nu een stuk later was dan twee maanden eerder toen we in Wierthe begonnen. De schaduwen van een aantal bomen langs de weg moesten nog even wegtrekken, en een flinke sluier rond de zon zat in het begin nog even te vervelen. Hoewel het best door reed met goederentreinen, zat er nog niks noemenswaardigs tussen wat alleen maar gunstig was, aangezien voornamelijk de sluiers nog best aanwezig waren. Zoals verwacht verdwenen de sluiers steeds meer en was de zon eigenlijk nog alleen permanent aanwezig, tijd voor leuke treinen dus. Maar net zoals de vorige keer zou het een redelijk matige dag worden waarbij opvallend veel interessante treinen vanuit de verkeerde kant passeren. Misschien binnenkort drie keer is scheepsrecht? Maar je komt nooit zonder enige buit thuis vanaf deze spoorlijn, want uiteraard passeerde er toch het een en ander aan leuk poseermateriaal.
Al jaren zijn de ertstreinen van DB Cargo en VPS een vertrouwd beeld op het traject tussen Peine en Groß Gleidingen. Meerdere keren per dag pendelen deze zware treinen tussen Hamburg Hansaport en Beddingen bij Salzgitter. Waar het vroeger voornamelijk DB Cargo was die met haar 151'ers voor interessante tractie zorgde, zijn tegenwoordig de rollen omgedraaid. DB Cargo maakt heden ten dage gebruik van Nederlandse 189'ers, waar VPS nog steeds met haar 185'ers rijdt. Echter hebben twee exemplaren van VPS in 2021 wervingsstickers gekregen met de leus; "Lok dich ein!". Regelmatig zijn beide locs voor één trein te zien, maar op 21 juni was het niet gelukt deze machines voor de lens te krijgen. Hoewel de ertstreinen van VPS door mij toch wel als redelijk standaard en zelfs soms als saai worden beschouwd, hoopte ik eens deze twee locs voor de toch wel opvallend groot ogende ertswagens te treffen.
Terwijl de zon al een tijdje volop aanwezig is, springt het sein opnieuw op groen. Na even wachten komt er in de verte een blauwe neus in beeld. Als eerste was de gedachte dat dit een 186'er van LTE moest zijn, maar al snel was de teleurstelling aanwezig toen we zagen dat dit een neus was van een AlphaTrains 185. Dit moest eigenlijk wel VPS zijn en dus zei ik nog dat het me leuk zou lijken als dit meteen de twee wervingslocomotieven zouden zijn. Hoewel ik het niet verwachtte bleek het alsnog te kloppen, want beide locomotieven hadden zowaar reclame op de zijkant staan!
Het is 8:12 als de VPS 185 516 & VPS 185 530 "Lok dich ein!" de fotografen passeren in een inmiddels al herfstachtig kleurend Sierße. Vanuit Hamburg Hansaport is het geheel onderweg richting de niet veel verder gelegen eindbestemming Beddingen. In de loop van de middag zouden beide locomotieven weer terugkeren, ditmaal met de fraaie Innofreight wagens. Helaas viel deze trein ten prooi van een fotowolk, wat overigens ook tweemaal gebeurde bij een 140'er...

VPS-loccen 186 244 en 186 245 zijn op maandag 4 juni 2018 bij Woltorf in dubbeltractie onderweg vanuit Hamburg (Hansaport?) naar Beddingen VPS met aan de haak een beladen ertstrein in wagens type Falns.
Aus Richtung Braunschweig ist das Ziel des Zuges, der Bahnhof Ilsenburg, nur durch einen Richtungswechsel zu erreichen. Planmäßig wechselt der EK 53923 im Bahnhof Oker die Fahrtrichtung und durchfährt somit den Bahnhof Vienenburg zweimal.
Durch den erforderlichen Richtungswechsel konnte EK 53923 am 04.10.14 ein weiteres Mal in der Nähe der Ortschaft Abbenrode abgelichtet werde.
