Today's story and sketch "by me", my wife Pat and I were out in the little deuce coupe cruising and listening to a Beach Boys CD in Southern Arizona last week, when we were startled by two members of the disbanded Scopidi Soccer Club jumped in front of the Deuce and asked for a ride, a ride they insisted anywhere as far away as possible away from the brutal Tucson one hundred forty degree daytime temperatures. We invited Ganet and Frigi the two Beaked Beasts to a moon pie and RC Cola picnic, and that was when we learned they were members of the worst Soccer Club in recent soccer history, at least the last nine hundred years the of "ISF" intergalactic soccer federation. The beasts told us how they had lost in the first round of this year's championship soccer tournament on the planet Frigati, and how the widow of Reginald Scopidi, became Lady Phasindi after Reginald failed to return from their honeymoon, which made the former gypsy voodoo goat herder princess, owner of the Hopphamer Brewing empire, which includes the Scopidi Soccer Club. When they lost that first match, she used a voodoo curse and turned the entire team into Big Beaked Voodoo's and exiled them here to the Arizona desert. And during lunch we had a conference call with JB and Rescue Randy, Randy the most interesting humanitarian and living tissue crash test dummy in the Cosmos, he and JB will locate the remaining team members and return them to their family's on Frigati their home planet, they seem interested in meeting Ganet and Frigi's single sisters, which will have to be a story for another time, until then taa ta the Rod Blog.
Inspired by others, I came up with my own version. This was a Christmas gift to my stepson, a diehard Raiders’ fan.
At the spurs of the moment, I drafted the pattern and handwritten the verbiage on the white fabric.

The Voodoo Doll plushies are available at the Kawaii vs. Creepy Gacha event. We've contributed to both the Kawaii and the Creepy camp, and these guys are located at the Creepy camp. The event runs from Oct 25th - Nov 22nd. Our other contribution for the Kawaii Camp are the Dragon Plushies.
