Today's story and sketch "by me" is about Rescue Randy's pet, not just any pet but the legendary Hadron Hound named "Bernard" who for many years has been Rescue Randy's sidekick, and the best tracker in the Galaxy, It didn't matter if he was tracking escaped convicts on Mars, or lady pirates on a dense jungle covered moon in another dimension, Bernard never failed to find the bad Guys or Gals, like the time a group of ten foot ladies from the Moon Caliginos, hijacked a Space Freighter, Stole almost the entire shipment of Moon Pies, that were bound for the most popular destination on Earth, Wonder World in Southern Florida. The Caliginos Ladies never harmed the crew, but did spend a wonderful evening eating a gourmet meal by candlelight, followed by disco dancing, until they tied up the crew, locked them in the storeroom with six cases of Banana Moon Pies, set the freighter controls on autopilot to Earth, loaded the booty on their ship, set a course for the jungle covered moon "Clinimo" where they thought they would be untraceable hanging out eating moon pies for the next 30 years. But when the Interstellar moon pie company offered Randy a bounty of Two Million credits for their capture, he and Bernard were on the hunt, and within two weeks they captured who would be known as the "Great Caliginos Moon Pie Caper Ladies", and to this day Randy visits Rooella the gang leader once a month for the Flip Flop Resort's, maximum security Prison Conjugal Tuesday's, which is today and Randy is here to fuel up his glider and will leave Bernard with his Voodoo friends, who manage Randy's Voodoo Fuel station in Anaheim Hills, until next time taa ta the Rod Blog.

I started writing my blog post last night, and it was turning into some manic rant so I woke up this morning and scrapped the shit out of it… Today is a new day and I was struggling a little over the past couple of days. I refuse to stay in that glum mindset and so decided that today will be a better day. I need to focus on the good and not get hung up on the other stuff… I have a tendency of letting small things bother me, especially with people I care about, because I don’t have that big a list of people I consider ‘close’ I have however started to get closer to one of my friends recently, and part of today’s outfit is thanks to the gift card she gave me, for CURELESS [+], last week. We have been chatting a bit more recently than we had been and even hanging out, putting outfits together… mostly talking and not getting as much work done, but it has been really lovely getting to know her a little more. I guess I should really tell you who I am talking about… well it is of course the lovely Tempy, another straight I met at Zeus, and an awesome blogger also, so we have lots in common, you can check out her wonderful blog here… I seem to pick up all the Judy’s through that club! Haha! We met the same time as me and Kess did, and hit it off right away but recently we are talking more and I have really enjoyed her friendship and craziness, it is on par with my own.

Today's story and sketch "by me", I have followed a group of dimension jumping living tissue voodoo creatures from the planet Gawean, a planet they share with the Gawanes Dung Beetles. Which are a story for another time. This group of explorer's have entered dimension Z-1942-3 completely by accident, they were actually on their way to Earth to acquire massive quantities of the favorite snack food on Gawean, the triple Decker chocolate moon pies, which they sell at voodooian sporting events and concerts. Dimension Z-1942-3 was created by 'the gypsy voodoo princess Zooelda, a place she created with super advanced dimension creating technologies, she learned by reading voodoo and witchcraft books, during those many years of lonely nights in the foothills when she was a goat herder for a man named Barnabus, who she eventually married, but when Barnabus the husband sent Zooelda back to herd the goats, well she turned him into the Spirit Tree you see being probed by the Voodoo wearing the flying saucer dome cleaning hat. But that will be a story for another time, until then taa ta the Rod Blog.
Today's story and sketch "by me" I have traveled through the space time continuum stargate in the back of the man cave piloting a B&R Galaxy Glider which is very comfortable for dimension jumping travel, like today's jump into dimension (Z-Mariachi Loco), created by Zooelda the Gypsy Voodoo Princess, she created it not only to send her first Mexican husband Juan Carlos Antonio Chebby the third, who she turned into a Leafless Jacaranda Spirit Tree, she also sent the band Juan Carlos hired for the wedding reception into the Z dimension, as voodoo dolls the (Iron-Huaraches), Mariachi Marching Band Juan Carlos hired was the worst choice for a Gypsy Voodoo Princess wedding, who doesn't like Mariachi music, even worse a Mariachi band that only plays Heavy Metal Music. Which is a story for another time. I have come here today to deliver a fiddle as a favor to Rescue Randy, he is a big fan of the Iron Huaraches and was upset when he heard Zooelda had sent Pablo here with a pitchfork, in stead of his Guitarron, (a very large, deep bodied six string acoustic bass), which is easier to play than a pitchfork, until next time taa ta the Rod Blog.

A very large double flowering fuchsia with enormous pendulous bell like flowers. Very dark red tubes and sepals - dark purple violet corolla. Heat tolerant variety. Hardy zone 9. Semi upright to trailing growth habit. Likes shade to semi shade. Hummingbirds love it. Must stay moist and avoid hot drying winds.

Today's story and sketch "by me" I have traveled through the space time dimension stargate located in the back of the man cave to meet Doc Wannahang you see about to inform his patient Targas the spirit oak, the diagnosis of his condition. Targas was actually a really nice human pest exterminator Zooelda called to remove a family of gypsy goat herders that had taken up residence in the parking lot of her Dimension Two Moon Pie Shop, located on route 66 in Broken Drum Indiana. Targas was such a nice man with a great moustache, Zooelda married him. That romance only lasted 3 days, so rather than a messy divorce she used a gypsy voodoo dimension curse created the Dimension we are in today, Z-1911-3 and sent Targas into it as a spirit oak, every thing was fine this last 107 years, until a few weeks ago a family of Ramorians Miscalculated their dimension destination and spent their vacation camping next to Targas, not realizing their saucer landing gear had picked up a phytopalot fungus on the Phytopalot moon. The young voodoo doctor Wannahang has informed Targas he is suffering from a non lethal Sudden Sad Oak Fungus, and that he will be sneezing uncontrollably for the next six months, until next time taa ta the Rod Blog.
