🇬🇧 Stillness and presence.
In the quiet frame of a monastery door, a man stands — priest, guardian, or passerby — caught in the space between silence and sound, shadow and sun.
This is not a portrait. It’s a threshold.
The blurred line between vocation and solitude. Between faith and the world outside.

He said, "Baby, what's wrong with you?
Why don't you use your imagination
Nations go to war over women like you,
It's just a form of appreciation
Come on over here, lay your clothes on the chair
Now let the lace fall across your shoulder
Standing in the half light, you're almost like her
So take it slow like your daddy told you"
Strut pout, put it out, that's what you want from women
Come on baby, what'cha taking me for
Strut pout, cut it out, all taking and no giving
Watch me baby while I walk out the door
I said, "Honey, I don't like this game,
You make me feel like a girl for hire
All this fascination with leather
And lace is just the smoke from another fire"
He said, "Honey, don't stop a speeding train
Before it reaches its destination
Lie down here beside me, oh, have some fun too
Don't turn away from your true vocation"

Even this picture, like the previous one, will be part of "reportage / story" I have in preparation entitled “Stolen Innocence”.
The child is taken up at a shelter for abused children and, unfortunately, he has been mistreated by their parents who forced him to beg on the streets and at the end of the day if they did not fit a set amount was beaten and left for fasting punishment.
Now it's much better approached in a religious order whose intention is to study to become a priest to help many children.
I again reiterate my warmest thanks to the always friendly tutor who were kind and affectionate that I shall continue to highlight the love with which they carry out their commitment to these children and a special thank you also and especially to Mother Sister Serafina.

Improvvisa vocazione
.
Uno strano sogno mi avvolge,
s'impadronisce della mia anima,
ma improvvisamente sento vivere
in me una voglia ardente.
in quella vita vissuta male, in quella gioia
tanto pretesa, ma, mai avuta.
Il mio sguardo incupito adesso trova
uno spiraglio, una nuova luce,
quella grande luce dove i pensieri assillanti,
strazianti oramai sono....assenti.

Sudden vocation
.
A strange dream surrounds me,
she takes over my soul,
but suddenly I feel alive
a burning desire in me.
My eyes are vague, lost, but
no longer want to touch my hands
darkness, this darkness that have already embraced
for so much, for too long ...... i have suffered.
E 'wet past so many tears,
my heart is no longer what it once
in that life lived badly, that joy
as alleged, but never had.
My eyes darkened now, share
a crack, a new light,
that great light where the troubling thoughts,
harrowing now I am ... ... .... absent

"Wonder of the West", the Mont Saint-Michel is situated in the heart of an immense bay invaded by the highest tides in Europe.
At the request of the Archangel Michael, "head of the celestial militia» that Aubert, Bishop of Avranches built and consecrated a church on October 16 709. In 966, at the request of the Duke of Normandy, a community of Benedictines settled on the rock. For eight centuries they will cease to build, expand, beautify their abbey to the point that it will take from the 13th century the name "Wonder". A masterpiece of architecture, the architecture should be said, it allows the man of the twentieth century to meditate in the pre-Romanesque crypt, to admire the power and majesty of Roman art, to let bring the beauty of Gothic parts.
This great spiritual and intellectual and Rome was with St. Jacques de Compostela, one of the most important pilgrimages of the medieval West. For nearly a thousand years men, women and children came by the roads called "Paradise Road", look to the Archangel of Judgement, weigher of souls, the assurance of eternity.
Became a prison during the Revolution and the Empire, the state will require significant restoration work from the late nineteenth century. The celebration of the millennium monastery in 1966 prior to the installation of a religious community in the old abbey house perpetuating the primary purpose of this place of prayer and welcome.
Parallel to the development of the Abbey, a prosperous village grew up at the feet of its walls. Tightened the southeastern flank of the rock, it has always asserted a commercial restaurant, hotel and souvenirs.
Joined the "World Heritage" by UNESCO, this tourist mecca is now receiving over three million visitors a year.
